The fourth generation of Lapierre's Pulsium endurance road bike returns to the competition with a completely new look. It not only achieves significant breakthroughs in lightweight and aerodynamic performance, but also provides riders with an unprecedented comfort experience through carefully adjusted geometric structures. .

The bike represents a quantum leap in design, with a frame that is 100 grams lighter while improving aerodynamics by 5% and shock absorption by 5.5%.

Pulsium has come a long way since the first introduction of the elastomer-damped SAT suspension concept. Now, Lapierre has overhauled its enduro models, borrowing the 3D tubular design from the new Xelius that bypasses the seatstays around the seat tube, an innovation that significantly enhances compliance and ride comfort. This design isolates low-frequency (50Hz) vibrations more effectively than traditional SAT elastomer solutions, resulting in a smoother ride.

The Pulsium has a uniquely curved seat stay, while the Xelius maintains a straight design. This curved design not only improves the overall riding comfort, but also makes the saddle feel softer and more supportive during low-speed and high-speed riding. Combining flex support, 3D tubular construction, and a rounded 27.2mm seatpost, the Pulsium provides riders with unparalleled comfort whether on winding mountain trails or flat pavement.

The 2025 Pulsium inherits the aerodynamic head tube and fork styling from the recently launched Xelius DRS, further optimizing front airflow. According to Lapierre's test data, the new model is 5% more aerodynamic than the 2021 Pulsium, which means a power saving of 6.1 watts at 50 km/h, or 4 seconds per 10 kilometers. time; and at a speed of 35 km/h, it can still save 2.1 watts, which is equivalent to saving 5 seconds every 10 kilometers. These improvements not only improve speed performance, but also provide cyclists with a more efficient riding experience.

To better meet the needs of speed-conscious cyclists, Lapierre has also fine-tuned the Pulsium’s geometry to give it a sportier feel while ensuring it’s easy to handle for all amateur cyclists. The most notable change is a 9-19mm reduction in Stack value to accommodate riders looking for a lower, more aerodynamic position. Additionally, the new Pulsium features a slightly flatter top tube, 0.5 degrees more seat tube rake, and a new XXL size to cater for taller riders.

The fourth-generation Lapierre Pulsium endurance road bike uses standard modulus UD SL carbon fiber material to build the frame and front fork. It uses a 3D tubular rear stay design to bypass the seat post to enhance the flexibility of the seat tube. The size M unpainted frame weighs only 992 grams, which is 100 grams lighter than the previous generation; it is equipped with a new 380 grams (unpainted, uncut steerer tube) front fork.

This model uses an Acros headphone cup integrated with a full internal cable routing solution, and comes standard with a -10° angle alloy stem to support a semi-internal cable routing setup, and also provides a 10° flared adjustable handlebar option.

Supports tires up to 38 mm wide (10% more space than before). Other features include PressFit bottom bracket, 27.2mm round seatpost with hidden wedge clamp, flat mount disc brake system and 12mm thru-axle design. In addition, each bike comes with a front-mounted GPS mount and multi-tool combo, as well as an extra-long reach top tube bag and full-coverage fender mounts. This new bike is available in 6 different sizes (XS to XXL), aiming to meet the needs of a wide range of cyclists.
